The Dog Faery King Madraí has invited the cat kingdom to his palace where he sees the beautiful cat queen Emeraude who is being carried by her servants on a cushion and guarded by her rather intimidating bodyguard Cait Sith. She greeted him politely and said she was excited for the ball that was scheduled for later this evening. King Madrai hoped this would bring an end to the hostilities between their two kingdoms that had been going on for hundreds of years and bring peace to the beautiful yet war torn country he loved so much.
